Want to join Napier Climbing Club? Come along with us to try out bouldering, top rope, and trad!
Join us at The Climbing Hanger, Alien Rock, and Blackford Quarry for our fun and welcoming taster! Open to anyone who wants to join, brand new to experienced climbers!
Across our three taster sessions, you'll get to try out bouldering, top rope, and trad climbing.
Our bouldering taster isn't free but we have worked out a discount to get in for £5 if you use this link.

Make sure to bring along water and snacks to keep you going, but even if you don't, the venue does have a cafe that you can purchase from! If you have your own shoes/gear, feel free to bring it along, the gyms do have shoes you can rent though!

Do I need a membership to attend?
No! You don't need a membership to attend, we aren't actually sponsored by any gyms; this is just a planned session where the majority of members have time to attend!
What experience and gear do I need?
For bouldering at The Climbing Hanger and top rope at Alien Rock you can hire any gear you need and there will be staff and many experienced climbers around to help you!
