Napier Tennis Development squad tryouts…

Competitive training for members who want to push their tennis on. The development squad trains every Thursday from 1pm to 3pm, coached by Gavin Vickery of Smash It Tennis Academy, and plays fixtures through the year against other Scottish university clubs including Edinburgh, Heriot-Watt, Edinburgh Law, Abertay, Dundee, St Andrews, Aberdeen, Glasgow and Strathclyde.

This is where we build towards entering BUCS in 2027/28. We are not competing in BUCS this season, so this year is about getting a squad match-sharp and ready.

Places are by selection, not by purchase. Buying this supplement does not give you a place in the squad. Trials run inside the Monday intermediate and advanced session, 7.30pm to 9pm, starting Monday 28 September, with further trials later in the year. The squad is picked jointly by the coach and the club President.

Come to a trial before you buy. It costs you nothing beyond your membership, and it is where we will be watching.

Who it is for: members already playing to a solid standard who want match play and structured coaching on top of the Monday sessions. You need to be a Tennis Club member first. This supplement sits on top of your membership rather than replacing it.

Price: £65 full year, £35 Trimester 1 only, £25 Trimester 2 only, in addition to your standard membership.
